A quick shout-out to the best four-on-the-floor snare fill ever. You’ll find it going into every chorus of California Gurls by Katy Perry.

Probably programmed by Dr. Luke? Anyway, you can use it in EVERY four-on-the-floor song, particularly mid-tempo tunes. If I had to do it slower, I might switch up voices and make it more of a “thing” like this. Would use sparingly I guess?
